DescriptionThis horizontally oriented abstract painting depicts what appears to be an outdoor scene of multiple human figures with a bridge-like structure in the background. The style is sketchy and therefore void of much detail within the figures or background. The figures’ clothing is robe-like and nondescript. In the lower proper left corner there is an oval shape which is pointed at the bottom with the vertical lines inside; this slightly resembles a caricature of a face, without a nose or mouth. The primary colors in the painting are dark blue and white, with traces of terracotta and pale yellow.Exhibition History
