DescriptionThis horizontally oriented semi-abstract painting depicts six figures (two standing, two sitting, one kneeling, and one bending over with hands on the ground). The figures’ faces are not delineated, and their heads are downcast. The two standing figures are most prominently featured, and they are facing each other but do not seem to be looking at each other. There are horizontal brushstrokes are the bottom of the painting which could possibly be stairs or bricks. There is a barn-like structure behind the figures with three angled rooftops. The painting is in shades of blue, green, yellow, orange, terracotta, burgundy, and white.Exhibition History
