DescriptionThis doll portrays a bannerman holding a banner in his right hand. He wears a flat, lacquered helmet with a circular motif and a pair of brown cords, lacquered paper armor with silk lacing, a thick belt covered with white fabric, and a pair of bulky pants. His clothes are made of silk, and he wears a pair of straw sandals. His face is round and painted with pigmented gofun, and his teeth show as he smiles. The red silk brocade banner is attached to a long pole with a fitting at the top.
