DescriptionGreen cut to red baluster shaped pitcher with silver mount and c-shaped clear glass handle. Mount has a crenelated bottom rim, surmounted by a repoussé garland of mixed flowers, leaves and scrolls. Smooth spout. On the body, green glass is cut away to create geometric bands of chevrons at the neck and an oval garland on the body. Nosegay bouquets ornament either side of the body and are framed by elaborate blade shape forms in-filled with a brick pattern. Marked: J.E. Caldwell & Co; STERLING; Gorham Maker marks.
