DescriptionThis doll portrays standing Emperor Jinmu with long black hair. His face is oval and white, and he shows a stern facial expression. He has a long black beard and mustache that extend to his chest. He is dressed in an orange kariginu robe made of silk brocade and a white silk belt tied on the front. He wears brown shoes made of painted wood. The inner robes’ fabrics are silk brocade and figure silk satin. The legs are covered with silk brocade tied around his ankles. He holds a bow made of painted bamboo in his left hand and two arrows made of painted bamboo in his right hand. His hair is tied on the back with foil-wrapped silk threads. The eyes are inlaid glass.
