DescriptionThis doll portrays a warrior seated on a stool with a battle fan (gunpai). His face is oval and painted with pigmented gofun. His hair is not tied, and he wears a gold-colored hat. He wears a suit of armor constructed of gold-colored paper plates joined by blue and orange lacings. His attire is made of brocaded silk fabrics and paper support. His shoes are covered with brocaded silk fabric and furred leather, but the leather is lost from insect damage.
