DescriptionPredominantly white/cream painting with folded/wrinkled bedsheet fabric collaged across upper horizontal half. Visible beneath this on upper left and right margins is text from a Russian language book; also at left and right is a cartoon drawing of a nurse and hospital bed with Russian caption from the same book. Beneath the left portion of the cartoon are the letters "un" and beneath the right portion are the letters "cle." An irregular geometric drawing fragment is at center in the lower half. Adjacent is a line-drawn image of a barren tree paired with the initials "DL." Collaged below this is a piece of maroon/gold/white plaid flannel fabric cut in a bow tie shape. Press letters spell out "said" (l.l.c.), "statuary" (l.r.c.), and "abcdef..." Two wooden molding segments are affixed to the top left and right edges. An framed photograph of a split rock in the form of two "I's" is to be nailed to the wall above the painting, and hung at eye level in front of it.Copyright© Nate Fors
