DescriptionThis sculpture depicts three separate pieces, seemingly welded together in small joints, of the main parts of an eagle: the eagle’s head, its wings, and its tail. These pieces are all painted black. The eagle parts sit atop a metal pole, and there is a sign which reads “LIBERTA” in all capital letters slightly beneath the eagle parts. The LIBERTA letters are white, and there is a mostly light blue background with abstract markings and designs on it. There are also parts of the sign which appear to have rusted, and the metal is white and rust colored in certain areas.Provenance
