DescriptionIn this circular composition, a worker dressed in a white hygienic suit straddles a concrete wall and leans over to swab the mouth of a person floating upside down to the viewer’s left. Though floating upside down, the person is in a sitting position with his legs sticking straight out from his torso. He is dressed in casual green and red clothes with his hands behind his back. Behind the concrete wall is lush, green foliage. The foliage fades into the background, which is white interspersed with faded blobs of brown and orange. Several Chinese text boxes cover the composition, and a cartoon bat flies in the middle of the drawing. The Air Quality Index of America (127) and China (74) are in the upper right edge of the piece in cloud-shaped bubbles.
