DescriptionThis portrait is of the artist’s girlfriend, who makes a kissing face at the viewer with her eyes closed. She wears a traditional, green, Chinese dress with ornamentation at the collar. The woman is surrounded by many text bubbles in both English and Chinese as well as many cartoon stickers. Phrases such as “Love Hurts,” “Moderat,” and, “Emo Day,” surround the perimeter of the composition.
