DescriptionThis drawing is of one of Gonkar’s friends, and is based on a picture she took of herself. She has long, straight, brown hair topped with sunglasses and she is wearing a small necklace with a yellow charm. She is surrounded entirely by various phrases in Chinese, dishes, stickers, brands, and internet slang.

The black text in the upper left corner reads, “Jiang Jiang’s Family Noodle”.

The red text on the left reads, “Create new glories for the Sinicization of Marxism”.
The black text in the middle right section reads, “Banquet-taste Big Plate Fish,” which includes the internet slang for attending a feast or banquet in the country area, like at a wedding or funeral.
The red text in the middle right reads, “Hengyuanxiang (Group) Co., Ltd,” which is China’s earliest and largest cashmere brand.
