DescriptionThis drawing was done a few days after the Coronavirus pandemic began in China. It depicts the silhouette of a human figure colored in with black hatching and many stippled dots that radiate out from the figure. In the upper left corner, there is text in Chinese that reads, “Infection within 24 hours leads to rapid death! ! ! !”, which is the title of a news article. In the upper right corner, there is text in English that reads, “I’am FEEL ANXIOUS AFRAID”.
