DescriptionTwo figures dance and float against a blue, grey, and white background suggestive of sky and clouds. The man on the left lifts his proper right arm to hold his top hat. His proper left arm is lowered and holds a long cane. He wears a black jacket with a pattern of wavy white lines and stars and a purple tie. The rest of his outfit is a mix of colorful patterns. He crosses his calves in a dance move; his shoes are white with black heels, toes, and laces. The woman on the right has wild red hair and wears a blouse and skirt with patters in red and blue against an orange background. Her hands hold up her skirt as she turns to face the man. Her legs are clad in tights with a pale blue and white geometrical print and she wears strappy red-orange high-heeled shoes. Her proper right leg crosses the man’s proper right leg as her shoe rests on his shoe.Exhibition HistoryThe Lawrence Lithography Workshop: Highlights from the Archive.
