DescriptionAn exaggerated human figure holds three red tulips in its left hand and an actual broom in its mouth. The figure has two pairs of eyes on top of each other and a wide mouth that takes up its entire face. Its lips are a true red, the same color as the tulips. The figure’s hair is a radial crown of white squares outlined in black. Beside its hair and below its jaw are four yellow daisies, two on each side. The interior of the figure’s body is exposed; the white ribcage covers what may be pink intestines, brown lungs and other organs, and a non-anatomical red heart, all of which sit on a black background. There is no body beyond the waist. Along the bottom of the work is a row of red tulips; the largest one to the left has a face. The entire figure sits on a background of pink, blue and white mosaic-like tiles.ProvenanceWith Nino Mier Gallery, Los Angeles, CA, 2018;
