DescriptionGrainy image of four women in a room with nude, headless mannequins and piles of shoe boxes. The women are all wear bathing caps. One woman stands behind the legs of a mannequin so that they almost resemble her own; her eyes are wide and arms raised up to hold a strange object on her head. Near the front, a woman lies on her back with legs bent. Behind her, a woman slips a high-heel shoe onto her outstretched leg. On the far left, a woman wearing white stockings and one shoe is bent over. There is handwritten text written in black ink at the top of the sheet and torn strips of masking tape adhered to the edges.ProvenanceThe Hall Family Foundation, Kansas City, MO, 2017;
