DescriptionThis drawing depicts a sphinx whose head has been replaced by a shuttlecock. The sphinx reclines on a large base. The drawing is executed primarily in blue with the tip or head of the sphinx in orange. Landscape as background is also in blue with small orange falling leaves.Provenance
