DescriptionScalloped-edged pressed paper fiberboard circular disk attached to lathe-turned wooden handle. The screen element is decorated with Gothic-style scenes of architectural ruins in gold and green on a black background. The borders of the screen are painted with delicate vines and foliage. The verso is painted black. The handle is painted black with gold highlights.
