DescriptionThe horizontally oriented work depicts the corner of a room and a table with seven vessels atop it from a skewed perspective. The background is broken up into four sections with thick dark blue lines and each section features a different color, pattern and texture. The top left and right sections are the walls of the room, while the lower left and right sections are the floor. The top left section is a muted pink with a woodgrain pattern, the top right section is a medium blue with a woodgrain pattern. The lower left section is gray with a white hole-like pattern interspersped throughout and overlayed with semi-transparent thick red lines. The lower right section is salmon colored with a pattern of white curved lines which resemble the letter 's'. The lower left section features a vertical thick gold band that runs almost the entirety of the left edge of that section. The top right section also features a vertical thick gold band that runs 3/4 of the right edge of that section. Inscribed in pencil in the white space at the lower left corner of the work is the title of the work. Inscribed in pencil in the white space at the lower right corner of the work are the letters 'BAT', the artist's signature and the year the work was created.
The middleground of the lithograph features a green rectangular table which juts out toward the viewer. The top of the table is a light green, while the edges and legs of the table are a darker green with black free form lines. There is a small leaf which extends the table toward the viewer. In the foreground upon the main part of the table are four predominantly white vessels with black features and highlights. Upon the leaf of the table are three predominantly white vessels with black features and highlights. All vessels vary in shape, but are approximately the same size.Provenance
