DescriptionThis five-color lithograph has a collage-like layout and is separated into multiple sections by crisp polygons, or geometric shapes. The upper left corner shows a blue silhouette of a dolphin-like figure on a background of green, yellow and orange, beneath curvy black grid lines. The next six-sided, concave polygon to the upper right shows a pattern of blue and white diagonal stripes. The shape flows down to the center of the composition. To the lower right of the dolphin polygon is a portion of a gray circle. In the top center is a dark triangle shape with hints of red. The upper right corner is a four-sided polygon depicting a simple drawing of a white horse, outlined in black atop a blue background. Beneath that shape to the right is a five-sided polygon vertically aligned chevrons or zig-zags that are in a repeating color pattern of yellow, black, blue, and red with a little white peeking through. To the left, toward the center is a five-sided polygon with a black silhouette of a pick-up truck on a yellow and green background. Black lines radiate from the truck in all directions, an arrow appears in the top left corner of the polygon and point to the right, and to the bottom right of the same polygon are abstract lines in semicircles and swirls. To the left, the polygon with the blue and white diagonal stripes and the portion of a gray circle peek down from the top. To the left of those shapes is a seven-sided polygon with a black stick-figure in a crouched position on an orange, yellow and red background. The face of the figure is outlined in red, but has a black and white square element on that has the same profile as the red outline but faces the opposite direction. The polygon on the left edge of the center of the print has three-sides and is a black background with white outlines of a fish and leaves and interchanging horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines beneath. On the bottom edge of the print are three triangles – they grow taller from left to right and are blue, gray with a yellow undertone, and black. To the left of the black triangle is a six-sided polygon with a black silhouette of a hand on top of a circular halo of yellow that radiates out to a red background. In the lower right corner is a four-sided polygon that has a purple circle on a yellow background which sits beneath three “folded” arrows that form a triangle and point in a counter-clockwise motion that are the symbol for recycling. There is a faint white circle in the center of the arrow triangle.Provenance
