DescriptionPencil and brown ink drawing. At left, resting upon a pedestal or column, is a sketchily described, spherical form. Gestural lines forming arcs and circles are repeated to the right giving the illusion of motion, as if the fall of the sphere rolling from its perch has been captured in a series of sequential, cinematic frames. Four smaller circles are arranged at irregular intervals across the top of the drawing and are connected by lines both to the dominant sphere and to the implied falling circles.Copyright© David Maxim
