DescriptionThe shield cover is painted with a central blue circle, surrounded by two concentric, thinly-drawn circles, also in blue and filled with pale yellow. On either side of the shield, near the edges, are pairs of short yellow lines, and at the top and bottom, following the contour of the shield, are single, curving, yellow lines. A single feather with the base wrapped in red wool trade cloth is suspended from the center of the circle.ProvenanceEd and Judy Benson, Mission Hills, KS;
