DescriptionThe vertical-format painting depicts a hazy, atmospheric view of the sea and the sky. Painterly brush strokes of pale blues form the sky and highlights of light gray, white, and pale yellow suggest clouds. A horizon line is barely detectable approximately two- thirds down the canvas. In the bottom right quadrant, brush strokes become more gestural where strokes of olive, yellow, and mauve suggest the plant life of a marshy landscape.Copyright© The Estate of Jane Wilson.
