DescriptionThis charcoal drawing shows the head and neck of an old man in three quarters view. He wears a cap with a button on the top, a coat with a collar that comes up to the level of his ears, and a loosely defined shirt. The man’s face is heavily drawn with quick, curved lines and his clothing, hat, and the background are composed with smudged charcoal.
