DescriptionThis print shows the backs of two men wearing overalls and white shirts. One stands next to a fire burning in a barrel, and the other stands in front of a wheel barrow. Another upturned wheel barrow is in front of the latter. Five flags mark the foreground of the image, and three rectilinear objects that may be the trunks of trees line the background. The middle ground is loosely defined and light in color, contrasting the darkness of both foreground and background. Under the lower left corner of the image it reads “Workers” and under the lower right corner “J Friebert.” In the lower right of the page it also reads “J-024 / 157.”Copyright© Joseph and Betsy Ritz Friebert Family Partnership
