DescriptionImage of a man, seated, holding a violin and bow. This half-plate daguerreotype is housed in an oval brass mat inside of a dark maroon leather-covered case embosed with "The Lyre Memorial" design on the lid with decorative gold tooling on the rails and a red velvet liner embossed with a scroll motif.
