DescriptionA man, St. John, kneels on a cloud with his hands together in prayer before a larger seated figure draped in a robe secured by a belt. This figure is seated on an arch. His right arm is outstretched to his side. His palm is open to seven stars. His left arm, nearer to the body, is holding an open book. A double-edged longsword emanates from his mouth. Puffy clouds surround the two figures. Seven ornate candlesticks with lit candles stand on these clouds.Provenance
