DescriptionUnified, square format image is divided into three registers internally established by "bleed" ink of etching plate. Lower third is blue, center third is rust red, top third is yellow. In lower register, four figures (the audience) are seated in straight back chairs. The woman at left waves a white flag. The man to her right claps his hands. The woman and man to his right sit quietly observing. In center register, (left) kneeling male acrobat supports female acrobat wearing tutu on his knee; (center) standing male acrobat raises a platform above his head; (right) male acrobat does handstand balancing on one hand. In top register (center) kneeling female acrobat in tutu kneels upon platform raised by figure beneath her. All figures are blocky and simplified.
