DescriptionThis is a model of two tables, one in front of the other, with the disassembled backs of chairs on top of them and what appears to be a black rectangular box that looks like a coffin with a slated lid. The tables sit within a square of a black base. Beneath the base is another black square base turned forty-five degrees. The polished concrete base beneath is turned another forty-five degrees, matching the angle of the first black square. The model and its bases rest on a concrete pedestal.Exhibition HistorySiah Armajani, Alexander Gray Associates, New York, October 27–December 17, 2016.
