DescriptionThe kimono is unlined and made of Omeshi silk. The warp was printed with stencils, and the weft was hand-tied and dyed to create a double ikat weave. Layers of blue morning glory motifs with white morning glory with a yellow center stand out against jet black ground. Red crickets sit on the white morning glories.
