DescriptionThe kimono is unlined and made of silk gauze (sha). The warp was printed with stencils, and the weft was hand-tied and dyed to create double ikat weaving. Black and light blue bush clover motifs are integrated with checkerboard patterns made of warm, light brown, and white rectangles. Vertical yellow and light gray lines emphasize the vertical design.
