DescriptionThis lithograph with hand-painted watercolor is dominated by a stone gargoyle with prominent front teeth who cups his hands around his face. Swirls dominate the background. The statue sits on a checkered tablecloth with, from the left, a bowl of walnuts with a nutcracker, a glass of wine, a chunk of cheese, a swizzle stick, and scattered walnuts. A purple and black checked bowl of pears is on the right. One pear has been cut open and rests on the tablecloth.Provenance
