DescriptionAn old man and sold woman sit together on a porch swing. Its chains mark the right and left edges of the print. He sits sideways with his bend legs on the bench, taking up two-thirds of the space. He wears an orange cardigan over a white shirt, a stocking cap, black eyeglasses, and black shoes. His proper left arm rests on the back of the swing and his proper right hand holds a mug with Opa on it. Grandma sits on the right one-third of the swing, lifting a cup with Oma written on it to her lips. She is seen turning three-quarters to the left. She wears a pink dress, an orange cardigan, grey glasses, and a striped headscarf. The top border of the image is a long vine with deep orange leaves hanging from it.Provenance
