DescriptionFuchsia colored silk robe in the early 20th century changpao (full-length robe) style. It has a high stand-up collar, and side flap fastened with five pairs of silk loops and metal buttons. The bright fuchsia silk fabric is woven with large roundel patterns of dragon image. The garment is lined with blue silk in plain weave.ProvenanceWith Laurence Sickman (1898-1989), about 1930s-1973;
