DescriptionThis is an outer garment with long, swinging sleeves (furisode) tailored for a bride's maid. The ground fabric is figured silk satin (rinzu) with woven motifs, including swastika and chrysanthemum. The surface is filled with embroidered, stenciled, and hand-drawn motifs such as crane, minogame tortoise, Mount Hōrai, bamboo, pine, plum, orange, and wave. The robe is lined with orange-red colored silk fabric, and felted silk fills between the surface textile and the lining.
