DescriptionCeramic head of a boy lying down. The top of his head is at the right edge of the print and his face is seen in three-quarter view, looking up with open eyes. His cheeks and lips are red and he wears a pale chin strap. A grey monkey with darker grey patches on its fur and pink face and hindquarters, shown mostly in profile, walks across the face from right to left. Thin lines of grey paint drip from the monkey’s proper right front paw and both back paws. Streaky light blue background.ProvenanceC. Richard Belger and Evelyn Craft Belger, Kansas City, MO;
