DescriptionThe ceramic figure of a nude, bald, pot-bellied boy, seen from the waist up, occupies the center of the print. He faces left with his face seen in three-quarter view. He has pale red cheeks and a red line goes from under his proper left ear to his chin. His rudimentary red hands are clutched to his chest. A grey monkey – drawn, not ceramic – with a pink face and hands crouches on his head, facing left. The monkey drops a round black object from his proper right hand. A pile of similar objects occupies the lower edge of the print.ProvenanceC. Richard Belger and Evelyn Craft Belger, Kansas City, MO;
