DescriptionImage mostly in black and white. Kabuki actor at right, facing left in profil perdu, holds up a square mirror in his proper right hand. He has black hair pulled together into a pigtail that curves up onto his bare scalp and he wears a black robe with oval white polka dots. We don’t see his face, only his proper left ear. The image in the mirror is Andy Warhol’s Mao with a blue face, red lips, and a yellow background.ProvenanceC. Richard Belger and Evelyn Craft Belger, Kansas City, MO;
