DescriptionBlack and white. Man seated at right, facing left, embraces woman at left, facing right. The room is hung with strings of frankfurters and Chinese lanterns. The man wears a sideways baseball hat with TA on the front, a tee shirt, and wrinkled trousers held up by suspenders. He has a string of hot dogs around him that his dog is munching on at his feet. She wears an enormous beehive hairdo, cat’s-eye glasses, hoop earrings, a ruff and a skirt. Stockings on her legs; a shoe on her proper right foot; her proper left leg, no shoe, rubs provocatively against his leg and the foot rests on the dog’s hind leg. She smokes a long cigarette.
