DescriptionImage of a woman seated with her elbow resting on a round cloth-covered table. Her hair is parted in the center and she's wearing a long-sleeved dress with a pleated skirt and lace collar. This quarter (or sixth?) plate cased daguerreotype is housed in a decorative mat with double elliptical opening (possibly made of thin foil) inside of a leather-textured paper covered case with floral motifs at the corners, gold tooling, and an embossed deep purple velvet liner.ProvenanceHall Family Foundation, Kansas City, MO, 2020;
