DescriptionImage of a bearded man with a scarf tied around his neck, a wide-brimmed hat set jauntily on his head, and a mid-thigh length jacket over his shirt and pants. This half-plate daguerreotype is housed in a brass mat with a double elliptical opening and a double coil braid with textured decorative border inside of a brown case with a textured surface and blind tooling and a red velvet liner embossed with an urn motif.
