DescriptionSixth-plate cased daguerreotype housed in brass mat with blue velvet liner. The leather case has an image of a bird with wings outstretched landing on a limb with a small bunch of grapes hanging below. Image of a woman wearing a full skirt and lace shawl with matching bracelets while holding a guitar on her lap. Her hair is parted in the center and pulled back to reveal gold hoop earrings.Provenance
