DescriptionBronze statue of nude female figure running forward and balanced on her proper right foot with her proper left leg extended in the air behind her. The figure’s arms are outstretched at each side. She holds a bow in her proper left hand as if she has just shot an arrow. Her hair is twisted atop her head and is crowed with a small crescent moon—a symbol of Diana, the ancient Roman goddess of the hunt. The figure is posed atop a stepped circular base.Exhibition HistoryFurther research needed to determine whether this specific cast was ever exhibited, but it is unlikely.
