DescriptionThe plate shows an outdoor scene with a large crowd gathered; many wearing dark pants and light shirts gather on deck near body of water while others sit on railing and stand outside large tent. Just beyond the fenced in area there are houses scattered among the tree-lined horizon. Half plate cased daguerreotype housed in decorative brass mat and brown embossed velvet liner inside union case.
