DescriptionA triangular shaped wooden box covered with black fabric and encased in gilt-copper panels piece red and engraved with scrollwork within an imbricated leaf border. The face panel displays a cartouche filled with a coat of arms. The top is an engraved tapering nozzle, with a cap suspended from a chain. There are six rings on the sides with gilt-wire wrapped braided cord and two matching tassels.Exhibition History
