DescriptionThe bandolier consists of a leather strap faced with green velvet bordered by silk and gilt-wire fringes, fitted with twelve gilt-copper alloy bosses cast in the relief of a lion-mask, one smaller than the others. Hanging from the strap are ten pendent conical containers covered in velvet. At the center of the strap hang a priming flask and a bullet holder. The strap has a gilt-buckle and tongue each cast and chased in relief.Provenance
