DescriptionA figure with his left arm raised (which blocks his face) charges away from the viewer against an undefined, dark background. He wears clothing that covers his full body, arms, and legs. His pants are tucked into heavy boots. A canteen appears to be resting on his back. His right arm is not visible, though it appears that he carries the flag with skull and crossbones that flies above his head in his right hand. The image is surrounded by ¾’’ of blank paper and then a thick black line that creates a frame around the image.Copyright© Joseph and Betsy Ritz Friebert Family Partnership
