DescriptionA man, barefoot and wearing yellow tinted glasses, crouches down to examine several toy cars and blocks. This is a self portrait of the artist looking at his absent son's toys. Propped up on one elbow and his face partially obscured by his right hand, he appears focused on the toy setup below him. His body and background is done in muted, almost monochromatic colors with the only stronger use of color being his yellow tinted glasses and saturated black hair. The toy cars and blocks, in contrast to the man, is filled in with bright colors.
