DescriptionThis contour line drawing with heavy shading represents a nude woman reclining on the soft surface of a bed. The bed is located in the corner of a clearly defined space that also includes the lower right corner of a window or picture frame in the upper left of the drawing and a pitcher resting on a wall-mounted ledge. Her left leg hangs off of the edge of the bed in the lower right of the drawing. She reclines with her spread legs facing the viewer, with her arms reaching above her head toward the corner of the room.
