DescriptionThis horizontally-oriented panel depicts a repeating pattern of bunches of floral blossoms emerging from a single vase, divided between four cypress trees. The top and lower borders are decorated with a chevron design. The patina of the raised relief is dark and glistens in the light, suggesting the use of a varnish. The ground layer is brown and appears to be the color of the wood.Provenance
