DescriptionThe kendi has a bulbous body, a bell-shaped spout with a nipple-like opening, a long narrow neck, a trumpy-shaped mouth and a flange near the top. The rims of the mouth were applied with thick glazes that have turned into dark brown. The spout open has been repaired. The vessel body is decorated with white curvy scrolls in underglazed blue background, and its spout with blue cloud scrolls. The vessel is packed in a wooden box.
